Are there any fees when making purchases?

No. Purchase amounts are automatically deducted from the wallet account, so there are no fees or interest charges.

When making a purchase, should the cardholder give his or her personal card information to the Merchant?

No. There is no need to present personal information such as PIN to a third party when using your NOWNOW debit card. Authorizing a card transaction with a PIN or OTP should be done by you only.

Is NOWNOW card accepted on all POS terminals?

Yes, the card will work on all POS and ATM machines in Nigeria

Will NOWNOW MasterCard work internationally?

No, the card will only work locally or within Nigeria.

Can you change the PIN on any of the bank’s ATM?

Yes, card activation can be done at any Bank’s ATM.

What is the cash withdrawal fee on other bank’s ATM?

N35 after the 3rd transaction every month. On Providus bank, cash withdrawals at ATMs are free.

How many times can you try your PIN before it is blocked?

3 Times in a day

What is my spending limit on the Card?

Your limit is tied to your card for KYC 2 and 3 customers while for KYC 1 the card limit is tied to the limit on your account.

What are the required details on your physical or virtual card for web transactions?

Can I cancel my card request?

No! Once a card is requested, it cannot be cancelled

– Step 3: Enter your NowNow account number(the last 10 digits of the number you used to register your OPay account is your account number by default).

Can my customers make partial payments?

Yes. Your customers can make part payment and then later, you can send them a reminder to pay the balance.

Can I create a Paytm Payment link for a specific amount?

Yes, you can create your link with the specific amount, then send it to your customers to request payment with the NowNow App. Your customers will not be able to change the amount at the time of payment.

How can I share my link to my customers?

You can share the link you created through email or Whatapp to your customers. You can also resend the link.

Do all phones support mobile payments?

Go to ‘Settings’ menu on your phone. On the search option, type “NFC” or “Near Field Communication”. If you see the app, then your smartphone supports NFC technology.

How to Use NowNow Tap and Pay on Phone?

Is it Safe?

Tap and Pay is very secure. It uses the same strong security as physical payment terminals. It is a convenient and trustworthy way to pay, as consumers do not need to hand over their cards to sellers when paying.

How do I tap on the phone?

Once you are prompted to pay by the consumer or Agent, place your enabled mobile device within 1 to 2 inches of the other party’s phone and follow the prompts.

What If I mistakenly tap my card twice?

If that happens, you will only be debited once. This is because each transaction generates a one-time code before payment is made.

How much does it cost to sell on NowNow Marketplace?

NowNow marketplace is completely free to sell. No setup fees or subscription fees.

How do I register an account on the marketplace?

You can register by using the “REGISTER” button on the NOWNOW mobile app and providing all information requested. Kindly follow the instructions as stated there.

How do I make payments on the marketplace?

Upon confirming the products to be bought and selecting to check out, you will be asked for your NOWNOW pin number to authorize the transaction. Once the correct pin is inputted, the product price and delivery fee will be deducted from your account wallet and your order will be confirmed

Kindly ensure that your account wallet has sufficient amount for the above, if not your order will not be confirmed.

How do I return an item?

You can initiate a return by selecting the returns page on the NOWNOW app. You can only return if the complaint falls under one of the conditions for return listed on the returns page or where default is a fault of the merchant.

Can I change my mind about the return option?

Yes, as long as you have not been refunded the amount you paid for the product. Please contact our customer service to stop the return process.

How long will it take to return an item and get my refund?

Retrieval of an item shall be made within 3 business days of the complaint. The buyer must make the product available for pickup. Refund will be made within 3 days of confirmation of retrieval of pickup according to the conditions stated on the refunds page.

Once I initiate a return, what happens next?

If the package was delivered to you and you requested a pick-up, the seller will call you to schedule a retrieval. There will be 1 attempt made to retrieve the item(s) within 3 business days of the notification call.

Can I return my item after the stated returns timeline?

You will not be able to return items if you do not initiate a return within 3 days of delivery.

I initiated a return and requested for pickup at my home, but no one came & it has been a while, what should I do?

We apologize for this. You must contact our customer care team within 3 days of delivery to lodge a complaint or initiate returns.

My return has been collected for a while, but still no news, what should I do?

Refunds may be made within 14 days of confirmation of retrieval of a defective product. If the number of days for refunds has been exhausted and you have still not been refunded, please contact our customer service immediately.

Is my product under warranty?

Warranty information is displayed on each product’s listing page by the buyer.

Do I have to return all products in my order?

No, you do not have to return your entire order. You can return your choice of selected items.

Do I have to return the gift when I return a product?

Yes, any free gift must also be returned.

Do I have to pay shipping charges when I return a product?

The seller shall pay for this.

Can I Replace or Exchange an item rather than a refund?

This will be subject to the seller.

Why was my item redelivered to me instead of a refund?

Returned item will be redelivered to you if the Merchant cannot verify your reason for returning it. For example, a microwave returned for not powering on will be tested extensively and if the claims are right, a refund will be processed, but if during the test, it powers on, the item will be redelivered to you. Please note that this is at the discretion of the merchant.
